Happy Valentine's Day

Love is in the air this week as we celebrate Valentine’s Day on Tuesday.

While we typically think of this holiday as celebrating romantic love, Valentine’s Day is a great time to reflect on all of the love that surrounds us, in all its many forms.

Of course, some of us will be celebrating romantic love this holiday, grateful for our life partners.

Spouses help us with the daily routines of life, making the mundane a little more bearable. They help us weather the rough storms, and are there to share in the joy of good times.

Others spend Valentine’s Day honoring the love of family, the bond that binds us to our siblings, parents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

And, if we’re lucky, we’ll celebrate the love of friendship, and the important role friends play in keeping us balanced, connected, and healthy.

Valentine’s Day is a day dedicated to those we care about.

It’s a day to encourage us to say “Thank you. I appreciate you.”

“You’re special to me.”

“I love you.”

You don’t have to perform any grand gestures to show someone what they mean to you. In this day of fast-paced technology and text messages and Twitter, nothing beats a handwritten valentine, sent via snail mail, to tell someone they’re special to you.

In addition to sending cards in the mail, we suggest letting Ashley’s help you celebrate. Our shop has turned to red and pink to help celebrate this day of LOVE. If you want to go beyond the roses and box of chocolates this year, we’ve got you covered.

Start the day with a smile and a heart-shaped breakfast treat. We offer heart-shaped coffee cakes and heart-shaped jelly donuts — perfect for letting your family know they are loved. And what better way to start the day than with delicious, heart-shaped sweetness!

If you’ve got a student in school, class parties are our speciality! Share a tray of our cookies, let us make some delicious red, white and pink cake pops, or enjoy some yummy cupcakes. There’s still time to place an order so give us a call today and let us help!

Finally, on Valentine’s Day, why not end it on a happy note? Enjoy a family dinner and let us provide the dessert. A heart-shaped cake is the perfect way to finish the day, and let your family know how special they are.

There’s one more thing to celebrate on Tuesday…you! Thank you for your support over the years. We don’t want to miss this opportunity to tell you how special you are to us.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
