A new year. A clean slate. A fresh start. January is the month that offers much anticipation of what’s to come in the year ahead. It’s a chance to try something new or do something differently.
2021 is rolling right along, and it hasn’t exactly been the smoothest first couple of weeks. The world feels very upside down right now. We continue to hope for a brighter tomorrow, and more peaceful days ahead. Ashley’s Pastries will continue to be here for you, offering delicious food during a time when we could all use a treat!
What’s new
Here at the bakery we are excited for what’s new and what’s to come in 2021. You’ll always find our tried and true and tasty staples, but we’re also working to create more options and treats to delight your taste buds. We want to make sure we have something for everyone, even those with food sensitivities or food allergies.
This year, you’ll find more gluten free products at the bakery. We’re expanding our daily offerings in the cases so you’ll be able to walk in and find a wide assortment of bakery favorites, all gluten free.
If you need to stop in and pick up a loaf of freshly baked bread to complete your weeknight dinner or if you’re swinging by to pick up muffins to share with coworkers, you’ll be able to get gluten free products without making a special order request.
We’ll also have coffee cakes, cookies and cupcakes in gluten free varieties, too, so everyone can enjoy the deliciousness.
Cookie of the Month
Another new option this year is the Cookie of the Month. We’ll roll out a featured cookie each month that will be available all month long. We’ll have some cookies that are seasonal and some that have a fun theme, but one thing will be the same: all will be delicious.
January’s cookie is White Chocolate Macadamia. While this cookie tastes good anytime, I personally love it for a nice afternoon pick-me-up. If you’ve never tried this cookie, stop in to pick one up! Cookie of the Month cookies are available individually or by the dozen.
In case you’re wondering what’s ahead for February, the Cookie of the Month will be Peanut Butter Kisses. What’s not to love about that, right? Yum!
