I’m sitting here in the quiet stillness of the morning. My fridge is stocked with all the ingredients I need to make a Thanksgiving meal for my family. My to-do list is almost completely checked off, and I’m ready to celebrate this holiday I love — one that sometimes feels overlooked.
As I sip my coffee and reflect on the good things in my life, I’m feeling so very grateful.
Here at Ashley’s Pastries, we have so much to be thankful for this holiday.
We couldn’t do any of this without you and your steady support. You, our loyal customers, keep us going. For more than four decades, you have chosen Ashley’s Pastries to help you celebrate life deliciously. This season alone, you’ve relied on us for dinner rolls to accompany the turkey and pies to punctuate the end of the meal. Thank you for giving us a place at your table.
We are also incredibly grateful for our hardworking, kind, and friendly staff. Whether they’re coming in early to roll out the dough and warm the ovens, greeting customers with a smile, or packaging goodies for special deliveries, our team is the secret that sets us apart. This Thanksgiving, we’re especially thankful for everything they do to keep our bakery running so smoothly.
And it’s not just the people inside the bakery who make a difference. We’re thankful for our support partners — our banking team, accountant, and insurance agents — along with our design and marketing teams who keep our website, social media, and graphics looking great.
We’re also so grateful for our health this holiday. Without it, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love: serve up sweet treats and deliciousness for all of you. This business has been a dream come true, and we couldn’t have kept it going all these years without both our health and our energy.
Finally, my gratitude list wouldn’t be complete without my family. I am beyond blessed to have a loving husband, two wonderful daughters, two great sons-in-law, and four beautiful grandchildren. Add to that my amazing siblings, my dad, my nieces and nephews — I am so lucky to have a crew of people who love me unconditionally, support my business and dreams, and stand by me through life’s ups and downs.
When we opened the doors to this bakery more than 40 years ago, we couldn’t imagine all that would come. How lucky we are for the way it has all unfolded. How grateful we are for our abundant blessings.
