Super Bowl 59 is coming up on Sunday. The reigning NFL champs, the Kansas City Chiefs will be taking on the Philadelphia Eagles. The Chiefs are looking to become the first team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row.

Millions will tune in for the Big Game and we’re excited to see how this one plays out.

It’s the second time these two teams have met in the championship game. They played each other back in 2023. The Chiefs won that game 38 to 35.

Super Bowl is a huge sporting event in the U-S. It’s also the second largest food consumption day, second only behind Thanksgiving!

Here are a few more fun facts for you:

  • The Super Bowl has topped TV ratings every year since the first championship game in 1967.
  • Americans are estimated to eat 1.4 billion chicken wings on Super Bowl Sunday.
  • 12.5 million pizzas are expected to be sold on Sunday.
  • Americans will consume about 50 million cases of beer.
  • This year, the average cost of a 30 second commercial is $6 million.

We must be honest: we’re just as excited for the commercials this year as we are for the football game. There’s nothing better than gathering around the TV to share a laugh over a really great commercial.

Personally, I love the ones that spark joy or bring a sense of nostalgia, so I’m looking forward to what’s in store.

Although we don’t have chicken wings or beer, we’ve got plenty to add to your party.
