Happy October! A new month begins, and we enter the final quarter of the year. How fast 2023 is moving!
Fall is officially here. Even if temperatures this week are more reminiscent of summer, the fall season has definitely arrived at Ashley’s Pastries. Have you been to the bakery recently? We invite you to come on in – once the door swings open, you are greeted by the sweet aroma of autumn all of the favorite seasonal treats.
Fall is great for so many things, mainly the way the world becomes so colorful with the vibrant, changing leaves; the cooler temperatures and crisp air; and the seasonal fruits that make the tasty treats we’re now serving.
Apples are in season and this versatile fruit is popping up in treats throughout our cases. We’ve got apple dumplings, apple fritters, the classic (and always delicious) apple pie. We’ve also got apple muffins, which are a great breakfast treat or pick-me-up in the afternoon. You can find yummy apple cookies, too.
We can’t possibly talk about fall without talking about pumpkin. This orange fruit is one of the most visible signs of fall – and we are all about pumpkins here. Start your day with a pumpkin donut (one my personal favorites). We have yummy pumpkin breads and muffins that are only around for a limited time. We also have pumpkin cookies, cupcakes, and pies, all perfect treats to celebrate the season.
These items are available daily in our cases. Pop in on Tuesday through Saturday to pick out your favorite treat. Surprise your family with a pumpkin cupcake after dinner or take some apple muffins to work to share with coworkers. Give us a call so we can have your order ready and waiting for you.
We know this season is a favorite for many of you, but we also know it’s a busy time. There are football tailgates, Saturday soccer games, music lessons, school projects, family events – the list goes on. But we are here to help celebrate the moments big and small, or perhaps just provide a nice surprise during a busy, hectic day. Whatever your reason is for stopping in, we love that you come to us for your seasonal favorites.
