Here we are at the end of the year. There are just a few days remaining in 2023. 

It’s gone fast, but this year has been a full one. 

Full of joy and gratitude.

Full of challenges and triumphs. 

Full of excitement and successes. 

Full of love.

As I sit here and look back, I feel tremendously grateful for another successful year at Ashley’s Pastries. We could not have done any of this alone – it’s definitely a team effort here. 

Thank you to our employees, a dedicated group that shows up early and stays late. This team bakes delicious treats, creatively decorates cookies and cakes, and serves our customers with efficiency, ease and a friendly smile. 

We are grateful for all of the support teams that keep the show running. We couldn’t do what we do without the help of our vendors, accountants, and bankers. The Oakwood City staff and service departments. We’re thankful for the great team at UPS that ensures our supplies are delivered and our sweet treats get where they need to go. We’re thankful for the team that helps run the website and keeps our social media accounts active. 

Our success is so dependent on everyone!!

And finally, we are grateful for YOU – our reason for this bakery. 

Thank you for your loyalty and support throughout each season of the year. Thank you for trusting us to make edible creations for your family milestones and holidays. It means so much to know we have a place at your table as you celebrate life deliciously.

Thank you for bringing in your children and grandchildren to pick out a treat from our cases. Thank you for coming in Saturday after Saturday for some donuts. You have supported our dream and kept our family business going for decades. What a beautiful gift!

When we reflect on 2023, we can’t help but feel so honored to have been named Best Bakery in Dayton by both Dayton Magazine and Dayton.com.

2024 is quickly coming, but the beautiful thing about the New Year is the possibility of what’s to come. The New Year is a fresh start, a clean slate, 366 days (it’s a leap year!) of opportunity. How lucky we are to experience it. 

Here at Ashley’s, we’ll continue to bake your favorites, keep the classics and add some new menu items to our cases in 2024.
