This Labor Day weekend marked the “unofficial” end of summer. While the weather lately has a fall-like feel (fall doesn’t begin until September 22), the calendar still says summertime. But as swimming pools close for the season, the swimsuits and pool days will give way to sweatshirts and tailgates.
Super fan, super host
Football season is now in full swing – high school games kicked off on Friday and college started this past weekend as well. Coming up – the NFL season starts on Sunday. The Battle of Ohio is this Sunday at 1:00pm when the Bengals head to Cleveland to battle the Browns.
Whether you’re a super fan or a super host, we can help with everything you need to make sure your gametime snacks.
No matter if your team kicks off at noon, 3:30pm or 7:30pm, we have plenty of choices to make your football party complete.
If you didn’t have Ashley’s Pastries before Ohio State beat Texas, know that we have plenty of breakfast options available for those earlier tailgate times. Our delicious, gooey cinnamon rolls or tasty glazed pretzel donuts are fan favorites and are sure to be hits for those early gatherings.
For those afternoon and evening games, stop by for our homemade breads and buns. They pair perfectly with grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, brats and metts.
Tasty tailgate treats
And once you’ve covered your burgers, your steaks and your meat, if you want to really elevate your tailgate, come to Ashley’s for tasty treats.
We can help make cookies, cupcakes and cakes to match your favorite team. We can decorate with logos or colors for high school teams, as well as college and the pros.
You can give us a call to place a custom order and we can have everything ready well ahead of kickoff. If you find the days getting away from you, you can always stop in and check out the goodies we have stocked in our cases. We have freshly baked breads, buns and rolls ready daily. You’ll see the summer themed cookies have been replaced with all the fun football goodies.
We’re excited to watch the football season unfold and we’re looking forward to being there to help you cheer on your teams – and celebrate life deliciously.
