Hello, friends! I realize we are almost halfway through January, but we took a moment to enjoy the holidays, spend time with family and celebrate the flipping of the page to a new year. 

While we look forward to all that’s to come in 2025 – and we are very excited for what’s in store – we are forever grateful for the amazing year we had in 2024. 

The years seem to be going faster and faster, but when we stop to look back, we see all that we accomplished this year.

We baked a lot of cookies, partnered with a lot of area businesses and organizations, glazed thousands of donuts and launched a new website. We made wedding cakes and baby shower cakes, baked thousands of dinner rolls and decorated a lot of cupcakes. It was a busy!

But none of this would matter if it wasn’t for you, dear customers, and your unwavering support of our bakery. Thank you! We know you have a choice when you decide to order a cake or pick up donuts or buy a loaf of bread. We appreciate your choice to shop local and support our family business. 

Because of you, we were once again named Dayton Magazine’s Best Bakery in Dayton for 2024. This means so much to us, because it’s voted on by you. It’s a joy to help you celebrate life deliciously; it’s made sweeter because you keep coming back to us. 

We couldn’t do what we do without the incredible team we have working together at the bakery, day in and day out. This amazing group of people, from those kneading the dough to those decorating the cakes to those running the register – everyone plays an important part. It’s our secret recipe for success: the tremendous staff that blend together to make something truly beautiful. 

We also have loyal vendors, support staff (those that help run the website and do many things behind the scenes) and they help us to keep things going year after year. 

2024 was full of many great moments and memories, and we’re grateful for those of you who share your experience with others.  When you take the time to write a review about Ashley’s Pastry Shop, it’s incredibly helpful.
