Our Story
For over 40 years, Ashley’s Pastry Shop has been serving up handcrafted cakes and cookies, donuts and danishes, muffins and pies, and much more. We opened the doors of our quaint bakery in 1982 to bring delicious treats and amazing memories to Dayton. Here we are, more than four decades later, just as excited to help you celebrate life as we were the day we began. We named our bakery after our first daughter, Ashley. Both of our daughters, Ashley and Lyndsay, worked at the bakery before embarking on their own careers.
Ashley’s Pastry Shop brings the Dayton community together with fresh baked goods that satisfy the stomach and touch the soul. Students walk to Ashley’s for hot pizza slices, mothers chat over beautifully iced cookies, and local families make it a Saturday morning tradition to enjoy our fresh melt-in-your-mouth donuts. Being an established part of our Oakwood community is one of our favorite things about this business.
You’ll also find Ashley’s deliciousness served in many restaurants, coffee shops, hospitals, and country clubs around the Miami Valley area. But don’t worry; you don’t have to live in the Dayton area to enjoy our goodies. We can ship your favorite tasty treats anywhere you’d like!

What to Expect
Giving Back
We are dedicated to giving back to our community. We are a regular supporter of many local organizations, including the Children’s Medical Center, the Oakwood Rotary, Dayton Public Radio, The Muse Machine, Catholic Social Services, Dayton History, Dayton Junior League, Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House, St. Vincent’s Shelter, DayBreak, Dayton Arts and Theatre organizations, and many local schools and hospitals.
